Leslie Becker
Book and Lyrics
Leslie's was the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Musical Writers' Playground in New York City and a lyricist in the Advanced BMI Musical Theatre Workshop. Along with Fetching Water, she's written book and lyrics for Here We Are, A Proper Place (World Premiere in 2017), and is currently working on a new musical based popular film. As an actress she's been seen in 10+ Broadway and National Tour productions, and her debut pop single hit #4 on the Billboard/Hot AC chart. In addition, she's the bestselling author of The Organized Actor® which she recently developed into a web-based platform and she's working on a new business model for producers to discover new musicals.
Michael Hunsaker
Composer/Original Concept
Michael has been a part of BMI music theater workshop, Dramatist Guild, and Musical Writers' Playground where he met collaborator Leslie Becker. He has written several musicals including Out of Frame, A Simple Romance, and Measure for Measure. As an actor he has performed on Broadway, off-Broadway, and shared the stage with Presidents, a Beatle, and the stars of Grease 2. Notable roles include Robert (Bridges of Madison County), Jean Valjean (Les Miserables), Fred/Petruchio (Kiss Me, Kate) and Brick (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof).
